The Sparkbooth licensing server will be offline for about an hour on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Pacific Time (PDT, UTC-7). We are switching over to new licensing software and moving it to a new host.
What this means for you
- Sparkbooth installs that are already activated keep working. If your photo booth is set up and activated, the maintenance will not interrupt it.
- Anything that talks to the licensing server will fail during that hour. That includes activating a license key on a new computer, and deactivating a license so you can move it to a different computer. If you try during the window, wait until after 11:00 AM Pacific and try again.
- Have an event Tuesday morning? Activate your booth computer before the window starts, and you will not notice the switch.
After the switch
Your license key stays the same, and there is nothing you need to do. If you have trouble activating after 11:00 AM Pacific, contact us and we will get you sorted out.
